Ramzoid (aka Julien Lopes) is a 20 year old Canadian artist from Prince Edward Island Canada with an unmistakable sound. Over the past year Ramzoid has garnered play and support from the likes of The Chainsmokers to A-Trak to Gramatik to Martin Garrix to Dillon Francis and even across the genre board to Trippie Redd and Fall Out Boy….the list goes on.
2017 proved to be a big year for this prodigious talent. Ramzoid dropped a number of singles and remixes garnering solid numbers across all platforms and later in the year began producing video tutorials on his YouTube channel which has seen exponential subscriber growth; currently sitting around 300,000 subscribers and growing by thousands each day. In September of 2017 Ramzoid was also a featured young and upcoming performer at the inaugural Electronic Music Awards.
Looking forward in 2018, Ramzoid has recently signed a deal with Alt:Vision records under the Republic Records banner which will see a string of singles leading into 2019. As a live performer, Ramzoid also bucks the standard trend, using a full 180° live set up to generate his inimitable sound: drum kit, launch pads, midi-controllers, keyboards, and mic.
Recently having supported Jai Wolf and Autograf on their North American tours, Ramzoid will be heading to the iconic Colorado venue, Red Rocks, this September playing alongside Gramatik, Gryffin, and Haywire. A Ramzoid set is truly a must experience for any music fan.
